Cultivation in the Field
In the fertile and wet paddy fields of Uzbekistan, rice seeds are carefully sown. Using irrigation canals, agricultural workers provide the fields with plenty of water. This method provides ideal growing conditions for rice plants, controls weeds and promotes the formation of healthy rice grains.
Harvesting, Drying and Milling
When the rice is ripe, it is harvested from the fields using Uzbekistan's traditional harvesting methods. The harvested rice is dried naturally in the sun and then sent to modern milling plants to be dehulled. Here, the bran and husks are separated to produce quality white rice.
Packaging
Rice from Uzbek fields is packaged under hygienic conditions after passing through quality control processes. Carrying the traditional flavor of Uzbekistan, this rice is carefully packaged for sale in local and international markets.
Since 1992 it has been our biggest goal to bring our local products to the global market. We have been working hard to achieve our goals. We started with a 200m2 area and presently have reached an area of 44,100 m2! Our valuable farmers, strong collaborations, and new system have helped us get closer to our goals every day. We currently have our first rice products available for sale internationally. Our export range is increasing daily. Our hope is to add pulses (legumes) and spices to our product line.
